>>>NEWS... 07-21-04 NEW IDEAS...SEEKING FEEDBACK... In an effort to build awareness and support for the annual charity game and the alumni program in general we are considering a few new elements: 1) Annual Charity game as part of a Saturday home Varsity game and 2) a Alumni sponsored award for a senior Varsity player ANNUAL CHARITY GAME... Please respond to info@uscsocceralumni.org as soon as possible with your feedback regarding the idea of playing the Annual Charity game on a Saturday afternoon in Sept. as the "opening act" (there is a Sat. home Lebo game that we are considering - date is TBD) Hopefully we may pick up some more guys if this event is on a warmer Saturday afternoon (with a crowd) away from the Thanksgiving holiday. Note: we plan to keep the post-Thanksgiving game as a time for the HS players to join in after their season has ended. Please let us know if you are interested / willing to play as soon as possible so we can make plans accordingly. ALUMNI AWARD... Idea is to have Varsity team vote on a Senior who best represents a pre-defined criteria. Top vote getter with approval of "alumni committee" will recieved the award at the awards banquet - stay tuned for more info - please let us know if you have any other ideas (or are interested in helping to fund a small award to be given) |
